What generator do I buy?
I've just started researching and I've already "had it"! I want a portable generator that will run a coffee maker, laptop, radio...generally small appliances. I want it to hold enough of a charge to make a pot of coffee (about 10 minutes). I don't want an education on watts and dips and whatevers. Solar, batteries, and a hand crank would be nice. I just want to plug in the two prong plug (US) into the thing. What generator do I buy?
For a single appliance at a time a 2000 watt generator will be adequate. If you want to run multiple appliances or connect to your home's electrical system I wouldn't go anything less than 5000 watts.
Honda makes a very good portable generator, but be ready for price tag shock. There are many cheap (not inexpensive) Chinese built generators floating around. If you want an expensive paperweight they make a great deal. Coleman Powermate had a 1850 watt generator which you may be able to find used. I had one and other than being noisy it was a good machine. They sell used for about $200-$450.

A cafetiere takes up less space, costs less and does a perfect job. Let the kettle boil, leave it for 10 minutes then use, the water is about right temperature then.
It is the blend of coffee which makes the difference. A little experimenting with how much you like to get the strength right and there you go.
The only gadget I would invest in is a whisk for frothy milk if you like that with your coffee. A stick blender will do the job too with hot skimmed milk and the stick blender is useful for making sauces, soups, taking the lumps out of gravy, milk shakes, batters and costs less than $ 10
I gave up spending money on gadgets.
All I have now is a multi purpose mixer/liquidiser whisk, the stick blender (third one) deep fryer, toaster and electric kettle.

Automatic Coffee Machines Questions
How can a make an automatic feeder, for a baseball machine.?
I'm trying to find a way to get a time delay between pitches without having anyone feeding the machine. Right now I have a coffee can with a hole in it that holds 10 balls but im trying to find a way to get them to have about 5-8 sec in between without using another person.
You need to have some type of escapement mechanism that feeds the balls from your coffee can hopper. All feeders have one.

Can you put regular ground coffee in a stovetop espesso maker?
I just received my espresso maker in the mail but not yet have received my ground espresso. The ground coffee I have in mind to use in my espresso maker is 'Chock full of nuts,' and I have a friend who thinks that you can still get the same energy using coffee grounds in the espresso machine. I'm not concerned about the quality of it -- I just want it to be strong. I'm a complete novice when it comes to affairs of coffee, so any advice?

Give it a shot or grind it more if you have a grinder. Thats the only difference. Although, I do recommend you get a dark roast. A commercial roast will not taste very espresso like.
